Measurements, equipment & data coverage
What is measured
Reported voltage is collected over MeshCore. Weather comes from an outdoor model; it is not a measurement of battery-cell temperature. Any available enclosure sensors are labelled separately.
Charge current, harvested watt-hours and remaining runtime are not measured. Capacity and panel wattage below are hardware ratings, not observed energy production. Weaver's voltage is its backup LiPo, not its 18650 bank.
Time & weather
All public times use fixed EST (UTC-05:00), including summer. Smooth lines bridge observations less than six hours apart; longer gaps and periods before the first or after the last reading remain blank. Interpolated values are labelled in tooltips and excluded from statistics and CSV. Observed only leaves missing buckets blank. Values are bucket averages; voltage tooltips include the bucket's minimum and maximum.
Outdoor conditions are Open-Meteo model data saved alongside polls. Hourly model values are aligned to the hour they cover. Forecasts are separate model projections, not observations. Solar exposure is in kWh/m², not panel energy; snow on a panel is not observed. Partial days and days below 80% coverage are excluded from daily comparisons. Baselines need seven complete days.
