MeshCore Release Impact Radar

This is a development readout for MeshCore release impact. It tracks released firmware roles, open operator-impact issues, hardware support, and app-facing watch items without treating GitHub activity as an official roadmap.

Development only Source: public GitHub

MeshCore releases are role-based. The radar watches companion, repeater, and room-server release streams separately.

Release streams

MeshCore publishes firmware by role. The radar should compare companion, repeater, and room-server releases rather than forcing a single version lane.

  • Companion: client-radio behavior and device integrations.
  • Repeater: RF routing, GPS/time, power, region, and board support.
  • Room server: ACL, persistence, access, and server-side mesh behavior.
Medium confidence

Operator risks

Recent public issues point to regulatory defaults, GPS/time sync, room-server ACL behavior, SPI/radio performance, and board-specific flash/config problems.

  • 0 recent hardware-class watch items.
  • Open issues are treated as watchlist evidence, not release commitments.
Medium confidence

App and UI watch

MeshCore App, MeshOS, and T-Deck/Ripple GUI items should be separated from firmware role releases so UI work does not get mistaken for repeater firmware impact.

  • 0 recent app/UI-class watch items.
  • Label signals are useful, but many recent issues are unlabeled.
Releases

GitHub releases

MeshCore releases are the strongest source for landed firmware changes.

Issues

Issues and PRs

GitHub issues show operator-impact reports and implementation candidates.

Canada

Live surfaces

CoreScope and Canadaverse MeshCore views remain operational context, not release sources.

Editorial rule: this page does not forecast dates. Release-confirmed means it is in release notes or a release body. Open issues and PRs are watchlist signals until changelog-confirmed.
